FIELD: small arms, in particular, revolvers. SUBSTANCE: revolver has frame 1 with barrel 7, handle 6 and cylinder 5 with zigzag slots 23 on external surface and self-cocking firing gear. The latter includes cock 9 with firing spring 13 and slider 14, trigger 15 and return spring 21. Slider has boss 17 engageable with zigzag slots 23 for turning cylinder 5. Installed on axle 10 of cock is stop 11 whose bow slot houses pin 8 of cock and spring 12. When trigger 15 moves rearward, slider 14 with its boss 19 thrusts stop 11 and turns cock through pin 8 to compress firing spring 13. At the end of stroke of slider 14, stop 11 tears off shoulder 19, cock is released and strikes cartridge primer. Cylinder is long and made with barrel bores 22. Slider 14 has rollers 20.
