FIELD: instrumentation engineering; organizing data field of laser teleorientation and navigation systems, optical communications systems, control, landing, and docking of aerospace vehicles, pilotings of ships through narrow passages or bridge spans, remote control of robotized machines in regions dangerous for personnel, etc. SUBSTANCE: method and device implementing it involve scanning laser beams with needle-shaped directivity pattern by acoustooptical deflectors over desired path; deflector angle of scanning varies as controlled entity is carried away so that linear dimension of data field in controlled entity plane is maintained constant and does not exceed specified error.
