FIELD: magnetic recording equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has first and second half cores which are made from ferrite and are located along movement of magnetic head with respect to magnetic recording carrier. First half core has winding hole. In addition device has winding. Angle between plane of working gap in second half core and tangent to working space of magnetic head which runs through line of working gap is greater than right angle. EFFECT: decreased magnetic saturation of magnetic head core near writing edge of working gap, increased efficiency of recording , increased efficiency of recording field gradient, possibility to use high coercion carriers which store both video and audio information, simplified design, decreased cost. 1 tbl, 2 dwg
