FIELD: electroerosion machining with electrode-wire. SUBSTANCE: process of automatic filling of electrode-wire consists in such movement of machined billet that electrode-wire forms bight which branches are located above and below billet crossing axis of next start hole. Catcher travelling vertically catches lower branch of electrode-wire and pulls formed bight through start hole. Travelling further in same direction catcher catches upper branch of electrode-wire. Then joining of these branches is accomplished, for instance, by twisting. Bight passing through machined outline is cut, bight of electrode-wire is shed from catcher and billet is so moved that guides of electrode-wire are positioned on axis of start hole.
