SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic release has magnetic system built up of core 1 of magnetic circuit 2, sleeve 3 with winding 4, nonmagnetic forward-stroke armature 5, and magnetic liquid 6 mounted on core 1. Sleeve 3, winding 4, and nonmagnetic armature 5 are arranged coaxially. Nonmagnetic armature 5 is held down by spring 7 on magnetic circuit 2 and forms gap 8 with core 1 and space 9 in gap between armature 5 and sleeve 3. Magnetic liquid 6 is contained in gap 8 between core 1 and nonmagnetic armature 5 in space 9. Magnetic liquid 6 is held around nonmagnetic armature 5 whose tail end is free to engage trigger latch of circuit breaker 11 during its operation. EFFECT: improved reliability of release. 4 dwg
