DIFFERENTIAL PHASE-SENSITIVE VOLTAGE-TO-CODE TRANSDUCER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2094946 C1

FIELD: electric instruments for measuring infra and sound waves, in particular, for acoustics, ocean and earth studies. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring of quadrature constituents of vector of signal which is generated by addition of two source signals in orthogonal coordinate system which is set up by vector of differential signal which is calculated by vector subtraction of said signals. Corresponding device has frequency transducer, pulse counter, time interval meter, logical gates, system for generation of total and differential signals and calculating control unit. First stage of system operations involves encoding of mean rectified value of differential signal and position of its zero- transition in time. Second stage of system operations involves generation of fake reference signal, quadrature decomposition of vector of added signal and normalization of measurement. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 4 dwg
