FIELD: mechanical engineering; soldering irons. SUBSTANCE: soldering iron of first design version has handle 1 with cavity 2 accommodating device 3 for connecting to supply source. Outer shield 4 is connected to handle by means of thin-walled projections 5. Device for fitting tip 7 and heater 8 is arranged inside outer shield 4. This device has outer tube 9 and inner tube 10 connected by projections 11 and 12 on inner end face relative to tip. Outer tube 9 on each end face is connected with outer shield by means of projections 13, 14 and 15, 16 connected in rigid pairs. Layer of heat insulating material 17 is placed between outer shield 4 and outer tube 9. Skirt 18 of tip 7 is located between tubes 9 and 10. In soldering iron of second design version additional shield is placed between outer tube and outer shield being separated from them by layer of heat insulating material. In soldering iron of third design version vacuum thermal protection device is placed between outer tube and outer shield being separated from them by layers of heat insulating material. Other design versions have outer shield placed in handle space with air cooling housing of handle and smoke suction from zone of soldering and with overall dimensions of soldering iron can be fixed on electrician's finger. EFFECT: improved accuracy of positioning of hook-up tools in radio wiring operations. 111 cl, 15 dwg
