DOOR HINGE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction hardware. SUBSTANCE: this is used for leaves of doors in dwelling buildings and apartments. Hinge has two butts and their tubular members are pivotally interconnected by means of axle which has protrusion. Tubular members on their upper end each has one slot. Supporting surfaces are represented by ends of tubular members, and clearance between them is ensured by washer. Hinge butts have cutouts and tubular members are made short for less material to be used. Hinge butts can be installed in common plane thus allowing for mounting of hinges without seating them deeper, and this permits to install hinges on metal and plastic doors and windows.
