FIELD: pipe transportation of gas; accumulation of energy in form of compressed air or gas for operation of pneumatic devices and gas drives. SUBSTANCE: air or gas contained in high reservoir provided with cover fitted with valves is forced by liquid (cyclic pressure) through passage in base from low reservoir. Each cycle is performed by delivery of stepped pressure to low reservoir from lesser to larger; part of used pressure is delivered in turn to accumulating reservoirs, from larger pressure to lesser and then to atmosphere. Accumulated pressure is again placed in operation through stepped pressure. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 8 cl, 6 dwg
