FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: multitower surface sprinkling machine has self-propelled towers, girders having arced water delivery pipeline with water discharge unions, two braces 4 along which surface sprinklers are arranged in equally spaced relation. Each sprinkler has two cylindrical sleeves 5 with welded yokes 6, cylindrical pipe 7 directed through yokes in spaced relation to yoke surface, bracket 8 mounted on pipe 7 and rigidly connected with cylindrical guiding sleeve 9. Thin-walled tubular boom 10 is axially positioned within sleeve 9 for reciprocation in vertical plane and provided with union 11 to which surface sprinkling device, such as medium-range sprinkler unit 12, is attached. Upper end of union 11 is connected through flexible hose 13 with union of water delivery pipeline. Boom 10 is fixed in guiding sleeve 9 by retaining unit having two eyelets 14 with axially aligned horizontal holes perpendicular to sprinkling machine advancement direction. Finger 15 is inserted into holes for connecting one end of connecting rod 16 with bracket 8, whose other end is rigidly connected with yoke 17 having oval-shaped section with larger diameter oriented in direction of advancement of sprinkling machine. Braking layer is rigidly fixed within yoke 17 to wall adjoining tubular boom 10 and brake releasing handle 19 is rigidly attached to outer side of yoke 17. Brake releasing handle 19 is connected by compression spring 21 with eyelet 20 of guiding sleeve 9. Free motion of boom 10 carrying sprinkler unit 12 is provided by pivoting handle 19 from below in brake releasing direction P. When pivoted in down direction, handle 19 will be turned in braking direction T (self-retaining). EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 dwg
