FIELD: medicine; psychology. SUBSTANCE: method comprises three stages, in each of which psychologist uses different techniques for plunging patient into condition of altered consciousness. In first stage, psychologist seeks to achieve definite weakening of emotional coloration and detailing of psychotraumatizing situation as it is reproduced in patient's memory. In second stage, patient is taught to develop his (her) sensory sensations and to correlate them with fact of confirmed correctness of information offered to patient. In third stage of treatment, patient is taught to independently select his (her) own behaviour model and psychologist must follow patient's progress until positive result is achieved.
