FIELD: guided projectiles. SUBSTANCE: on guided projectile made in agreement with aerodynamic scheme "duck" aerodynamic control elements are manufactured in the form of two plates placed in cantilever in one plane on body of projectile. One of them is made fast to body and second one is installed after first one on axis with clearance (mobile plate is vane). Vane has rake at angle 25-35 deg at distance 0.30-0.35 of span of vane bracket from root chord on front edge of rake. Highest efficiency of control over projectile is achieved by way of optimal choice of relations of geometric dimensions of vane and plate. All mentioned makes it possible to reduce considerably hinge moment of vanes, to increase controlling force of vanes which in its turn enable envisaged overload of projectile in flight to be enhanced and mass-and-dimension characteristics of vane drive to be diminished.
