FIELD: mining industry, drilling of workings predominantly by tunneling machines of selected action. SUBSTANCE: actuating element of mining machine includes discs with rolling cutter bits connected to carrier that is coupled to shaft of drive. Each disc is put on output shaft of reduction gear located in body of carrier and is coupled by gear transmission of reduction gear, worm gear-wheel with worm which is connected to body of actuating element or is connected to additional adjustable drive attached to body of actuating element. Gear ratio of gear transmission of each reduction gear may be different. At least one reduction gear of discs has gear ratio different from gear ratios of two other reduction gears. Change of cutting pitch of rock is achieved by change of number of revolutions of worm by means of adjustable drive. Actuating element is so designed that direction of movement of actuating element, destruction circuit and cutting pitch can be changed which ensures crushing of rock under most favorable mode and driving of working of various section.
