FIELD: mechanical engineering; axial-flow multistage compressors. SUBSTANCE: three-tier compressor consists of three different diameter rotors with blades. Each smaller diameter compressor is installed with clearance into compressor larger diameter rotor and the smallest rotor is rigidly secured on shaft. Larger diameter rotors are installed in slots made over diameter at both ends in end face shields of housing whose diameter is chosen to accommodate maximum size compressor with small clearance. Blades of all axial flow compressors are installed in common housing, their three-step hubs are rigidly secured on shaft and each step has its own angle of tilting relative to longitudinal axis. Cylindrical surface of rotor of each compressor is divided into several similar sectors within the limits of which gradual increase of length of inlet portion of each blade is provided which contributes to creating air intake space. Thickness of middle portion of each blade is gradually increased towards outlet portion of blade whose thickness remains unchanged and its side planes form slot channels together with side planes of adjacent blades.
