FIELD: geodetic instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: optical centering mount has lens 3 to which output surface lens 6 with flat surface matching rear main plane of lens is cemented, ampule 5 with liquid, projection system (prism 7, lens 8) and eye piece 9. Two optical wedges 1 and 2 with same angles of refraction are placed in front of lens. Flat surface of lens 6 has mark (cross-hairs of grid), reflecting surface of liquid, for example, mercury, is located at distance equal to half focal distance of lens. Correcting optical wedges allow systematic error of position of line of sight to be excluded. Line of sight is set automatically to vertical position by both coordinates with high accuracy providing for automatization of centering process. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of automatization of process of self-alignment of line of sight. 3 cl, 2 dwg
