ELECTRONIC COMPASS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: navigational instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: electronic compass is built on base of magnetometer with feedback which magnetosensitive element is made in the form of band or rod from material changing conductance by high frequency current under action of magnetic field. Electronic circuit of magnetometer includes generators of high and low frequency currents, amplitude detector, phase discriminator and amplifier forming output signal of constant current proportional to intensity of magnetic field in direction of axis of megnetosensitive element. EFFECT: increased functional reliability and accuracy of compass. 2 dwg
