SPRAYER FOR WASHING ANIMAL UDDER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: sprayer has bowl 7, casing 1, valve 2 with stem 6, head 7, hooked sprayer controlling apparatus. Shower-type head and sprayer controlling apparatus are mounted on stem. Force applied by spring mounted between casing and bowl is at least equal to weight of stem and bowl filled with water. Prior to milking, operator holds sprayer with bowl directed upward, presses hooked sprayer controlling apparatus to provide displacement of valve downward relative to casing. Hot water is delivered through slit between valve and casing as well as through radial and axial openings of stem to head and from head is directed under pressure to animal udder for effectuating both washing and massage of udder. By moving sprayer and cyclically pressing on hooked apparatus, operator performs premilking treatment of animal udder for 20-25 s. Waste water is discharged through bowl openings via hose into sewage channel. EFFECT: increased efficiency and adequate animal keeping conditions by improved microclimate of animal house. 1 dwg
