FIELD: medicine; surgery. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is intended for treating macropodia (pes gigas) cases predominantly in infants and resides in fully dissecting periosteum of metatarsal bones together with excessively grown interosseous muscles, followed by epiphysiodesis of toes' phalanges. Next surgeon must proceed by forming "tying brace" of foot's anterior segment with help of tendinous autotransplants, followed by fixing foot's anterior segment with help of intersecting Kirschner pins. EFFECT: enhanced treatment efficiency.
