FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: thread feeder has brake for at least one thread removed from bobbin by drive electric motor. Thread is wound in subsequent coils onto feed drum. At least one thread running off the drum is passed through thread tension indicator whose mechanical deflection is calculated by electronic devices and is converter into signals to control electric motor drive and thread feeder. Feed drum is made integral with rotor of drive electric motor to accumulate required amount of thread and is provided with X-positioned steel wires to form wire net over perimeter. Thanks to it one or two threads can be removed from feed drum. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 18 cl, 7 dwg
