FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermoelectric generator case incorporates furnace chamber 2 with gas burners which are fired with the result that waterwalls 3 carrying coolant are heated. Exit gases go through gas duct 4 and stack-gas cleaning device 6 provided with catalyst to intertube space of economizer 5. Catalyst is made of mullite-silica fibrous material impregnated with ammonium metavanadate. Catalyst layer is heated by stack gases to 400-500 C and filtering gases are cleaned of carbon oxide and nitrogen oxides. EFFECT: provision for cleaning stack gases in the course of operation of thermoelectric generator. 1 dwg
