FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves the successive applying the covering dye and fixing agent on the leather semifinished product. Covering dye has the following components, wt.-%: pigment concentrate, 16-21; 40-% aqueous dispersion of copolymer of butylacrylate, acrylonitrile and methacrylic acid at ratio 70:25:5, 27-32; 30-% aqueous dispersion of copolymer of n-butylacrylate, glycidylmethacrylate and methacrylic acid at ratio 86: 9: 5, 5-7; 10-% aqueous dispersion of copolymer of nitrileacrylic acid and methacrylic acid at ratio 77:23, 4-6; 40-% aqueous dispersion of copolymer of methylacrylate, butylacrylate and methacrylic acid at ratio 62: 35: 3 or 40-% aqueous dispersion of polyurethan, 12-17; additions, 9-13; and water, the balance. Fixing agent has the following components, wt.-%: pigment concentrate, 0.5-1.0; 17-% aqueous dispersion of copolymer of ethylacrylate and nitrileacrylic acid at ratio 22:78, 2-11; 40-% aqueous dispersion of copolymer of butylacrylate and acrylonitrile at ratio 64:36, 25-28; 30-% aqueous dispersion (Madol-3G), 4-6; 10-% aqueous dispersion (Madol-TM), 3-5; additions, 12.5-19.0; and water, the balance.
