FIELD: communication, in particular, digital frame-relay communication systems using HDLC communication protocols. SUBSTANCE: device has commutator 1, search strategy register 5, third register 7. First register 2 and comparison unit provide search and identification of flag combination. Third register 7 and decoder 8 detect frame control code in flow of input digital flow and decode it in order to get information about frame type. Correction unit 4 provides detection and removal of pulses from clock synchronization signal when transparent-mode bit is received by device input. This results in possibility of real-time device operations, zero probability of skipping (if a priori information about frame control structure in communication protocols is given), simplified implementation and possibility of modification for arbitrary types of dialog communication protocols.
