SUBSTANCE: sheet conveying cylinder has shaft, main body, controllable grips mounted on main body and adapted for engagement with sheet front edge, suction members arranged on carrier members for movement so that their directions intersect at one point to resemble light beam. Intersection point is on middle peripheral line of cylinder. Hollow shaft is communicated with suction air source. Suction members have convex lower part mounted in respective receptacles on shaft and fixed within receptacles by compression springs.
