FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to high-rise tower-type supports for communication equipment, tele- and radio- broadcasting antennas and also for lighting apparatus and other applications. Support is made up of comparatively small number of unified prismatic sectional components which require no large area for erection, nor special load-lifting mechanisms or erecting operations in height. Antenna support has lower pyramidal part resting by its large base on foundation, upper prismatic sectional part which can be extended in height having horizontal stiffening diaphragms, girths and struts which are interconnected in supporting units. Upper section of pyramidal upper part is made in the form of mounting gantry with extreme guiding prism, electric winch, system of moving and stationary pulleys secured on base of pyramidal part and on extreme prism and connected with electric winch, and guide members, pressing rollers mounted on extreme prism. Interconnected adjacent prismatic sectional parts of support are of variable section with increase from top to bottom with multiple ratio of proportional load on prismatic sectional parts made in their turn with possibility for telescopic extension or folding, and supporting units are made in the form of adapter box-section inserts with threaded joints. Angle of incline of pyramidal section faces relative to vertical axis is 10-15 deg. Antenna support is made of structural aluminium alloys. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 5 dwg
