FIELD: optics, reflecting elements in interferometers, light range finders. SUBSTANCE: proposed prismatic corner reflector is manufactured in the form of trihedral pyramid with side ribs of equal length. Two dihedral angles of pyramid between side reflecting faces are equal to π/2 and third dihedral angle is equal to π[2(S+1)], where S=3, 6, 7. In accordance with invention sectors of working aperture of input frontal face of reflector corresponding to order of reflection of light from side faces in which face opposite to dihedral angle π/[2(S+1)] is not at start or finish of network of 2S+3 total internal reflections are screened. Refractive index of material of reflector is chosen equal to n=1.46 for S=3, n=1.98 for S=6 and n= 1.64 for S=7. EFFECT: increased operational characteristics of reflector. 4 dwg
