FIELD: veterinary science, prophylaxis. SUBSTANCE: to prevent cattle against gadflies it is necessary to use a pasty preparation "Miacide" applied upon hairy surface of limbs and stomach in cattle. Such treatment is carried out individually twice or thrice during gadflies' season at 3-4-week-long intervals.
