FIELD: gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: smoke fumes are treated at 850-1100 C with aqueous solution containing amino group and, according to invention, additional treatment with amino-containing reagent solution is performed at 300-800 C, after which sulfur oxides are neutralized and neutralization products are absorbed at 40-90 C. In preferred embodiment of invention, treatment of smoke fumes by amino-containing reagent is conducted at 500-700 C and neutralization at 70-90 C. In neutralization and absorption steps, aqueous solution of sulfite- bisulfite salts formed in sulfur oxide neutralization should be utilized. EFFECT: enhanced simultaneous removal of nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides (purification degrees 85-90 and 90-95%, respectively). 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
