FIELD: development and manufacture of aircraft with optimal arrangement of engine plant. SUBSTANCE: axes of engine of two-engine plant of aircraft are parallel relative to each other and are accurately vertical one above other relative to center plane of wing. Both engines are secured to one and the same pylon of single or sectional structure provided with attachment units for securing them to wing. Engines are shifted longitudinally relative to each other: one engine is shifted forward relative to leading edge of wing and other engine is shifted backward relative to trailing edge of the same wing; they are so located that torsional moments applied to this wing and caused by gravitational force and thrust of each engine are constantly kept to minimum. Invention may be used both in aircraft with fixed-geometry wings and variable-geometry wings. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 26 cl, 20 dwg
