FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: header has frame 1, stalk lifters 2 fixed to frame 1 and having housings defining guiding channels 3. Conveyors 4 for gripping and moving plant stalks are positioned along guiding channels 3. Cutters 5 are arranged at outlet ends of guiding channels 3. Vibratory seed conveyors are arranged between guiding channels 3 on frame 1 in inclined position relative to auger-type conveyor at an angle of 10-16 deg to horizontal plane. When header advances along field, plant stalks are directed by stalk lifters 2 into guiding channels 3. When stalks approach outlet end of guide channels 3, they are cut off at location adjacent to head part. Seeds and heads are moved by vibratory conveyors to auger-type conveyor which delivers them to threshing unit. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 cl, 3 dwg
