GRAIN COMBINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: grain combine has chaff heap discharge device with tossing board and blade-type thrower arranged behind tossing board above leading portion of stacker bottom. Blades of thrower are arranged at different angles of inclination in rotation direction. Tossing board is provided with perforations of adjustable size and it has grain pan. Front end of grain pan is positioned behind lower cleaning screen and its rear end is arranged above grain pan of lower cleaning screen. Combine is further provided with fibrous chaff discharge device formed as grinder mounted behind straw separator in upper part of stacker. Mass discharge channel is positioned above stacker and its lower part is made such that grain and small-sized chaff may penetrate through it. Upper cleaning screen extension has shield with adjustable inclination angle. Rear and side walls of stacker and their joints are impermeable for small-sized chaff. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved quality of grain. 4 cl, 2 dwg
