FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating ocular traumas in small animals 20-30 seconds before the onset of irradiation by heliun-neon laser ray due to application of hydrocortisone ointment upon cornea. Irradiation is conducted for 60-180 seconds from the distance of 30-40 cm at power density of 0.3-0.4 milliwatt/cmcm2 and 2-5 milliwatt power. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
