FIELD: transport engineering; ventilation systems. SUBSTANCE: inlet ventilation device of body mounted on its front panel consists of housing 1, cover 2, drain system and valve mechanism. Lower portion of cover 2 is made in form of horizontal plates 3 arranged at angle to on-coming air flow, and lower edge of plates is pointed inwards. Rear wall of housing 1 is made either inclined or funnel-shaped, directed to side of drain system hole 6. Drain system is brought out to side panel of body, with outlet hole arranged below inlet hole 6. Valve mechanism consists of valve 4 rigidly mounted on control rod 5, two pushbuttons 12. Valve has magnetic lock providing its fixing in open and closed position and can be operated both from inside and outside the body. EFFECT: improved ventilation of van body. 3 cl, 6 dwg
