FIELD: transport engineering; bicycles. SUBSTANCE: front wheel drive has transmission section with pedal secured on bicycle pedal shaft which serves to transmit driving effort to driving sprocket connected with rear wheel by chain. Changed-over section of drive provides rotation of rear wheel in forward direction or free-wheeling under action of driving effort created on transmission section of drive. Connecting section of drive provides rotation of driving sprocket in forward direction or free-wheeling of driving sprocket according to action of change over section of drive to provide rotary motion in forward direction or free-wheeling according to setting of lever at reverse stroke of bicycle pedals.
