FIELD: helicopter main rotors. SUBSTANCE: main rotor blades include spar, tail sections and plates provided on trailing edges of some sections which are used in controlling the in-track condition of main rotors. Sometimes, plates are mounted over entire length of blade in order to increase blade chord and consequently its lifting ability. Effect of plates at standard radii $$$ on lifting ability of blade is low. To increase lifting mass of helicopter at standard radii $$$, plates increasing the blade chord by approximately 10 percent are mounted. EFFECT: increased lifting ability of blade. 6 dwg
