FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, in particular, cleaning screens and felts of paper-making machines, may be used for removal of contaminants from perforations of suction shafts by water or washing liquid streams supplied under pressure. SUBSTANCE: automatic system has rinse pipe, which is moved at speed coordinated with that of screen or felt to provide complete washing of screen or felt for one pass of rinse pipe without penetration of foreign matter into screen or felt material. Such construction allows service life of screens and felts to be increased by 1.5 times. EFFECT: increased quality of produced paper, reduced labor intensity for paper production, simplified maintenance and prolonged service life of screens and felts. 1 dwg
