FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: refrigerating plant uses a condenser, evaporator, two-stage centrifugal compressor unit with an electric motor having a cooling system. The condenser inlet is connected to the compressor outlet, and through its outlet over a single line through an additional throttling element, vessel-separator and the first throttling element it communicates with the evaporator inlet, and over an additional line through the second throttling element - with the cooling system. The evaporator outlet communicates with the compressor inlet. The specific feature of the plant is the fact that it is furnished with an additional throttling element, vessel-separator, recuperative heat exchanger, and the cooling system is isolated from the electric motor frame interior by a cooling jacket, whose space is positioned between the stator and rotor and communicates through an additional coolant supply duct with the outlet of the second throttling element, and through an additional coolant discharge duct - with the vessel-separator installed in succession with the additional throttling element of the line running from the condenser to the evaporator. As to the gas phase, the vessel-separator is connected through the gas coolant supply duct to the electric motor frame space; the gas coolant discharge duct is connected to the inlet of the compressor second stage.
