SUBSTANCE: transducer has two stacks of series-connected piezoelectric-crystal plates suffering shear strain whose connection can be varied without physical components to change them from responding to linear components over to responding to angular ones. When four switching contacts coupled with electrodes of stacks of piezoelectric-crystal plates are brought out of casing, user can switch them over in turn. Fast-response electronic switch provides for practically instant measurements. Three such self-contained or partially combined transducers may be used part of multicomponent device for measuring three linear and three angular components of multichamber vibrations in all six degrees of freedom of equipment under check taken by solid body.
