REGULATED SEMICONDUCTOR VOLTAGE CHANGER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2105406 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering; DC-to-AC converters. SUBSTANCE: voltage changer uses hybrid circuit arrangement set of master oscillator built around transistors and output inverter built around thyristors. Master oscillator base winding is built up of two half-windings whose leads are connected to transistor terminals; inverter transformer output winding is connected to gate electrodes of thyristors. Inverter is also provided with backward diodes and switching capacitor. Similar capacitor is inserted between emitters of transistors in master oscillator. EFFECT: improved capacity of refrigerators due to automatic frequency control in case of variations in DC voltage of storage batteries thereby regulating load current. 1 dwg
