FIELD: analysis of liquid rocket fuel. SUBSTANCE: into sample of non-symmetrical dimethyl hydrazine or monomethyl hydrazine comprising carbon dioxide is added solution of barium chloride, mass ratio of sample to be analyzed and barium chloride being 1:5,0•10-3-1,7•10-2. Mixture is placed into vessel for vacuum blowing, where blowing is carried out at 40-45 C practically to dryness. Distilled water is added into dry residue and thus obtained solution is mixed. In 5-7 min optical density of said solution is determined with the help of photocolorimetry procedure at λ=400 nm. Content of analyzed material is calculated with the help of calibration curve.
