FIELD: preparation of biologically active substances. SUBSTANCE: nonoxidized part of peat obtained after oxidation of chief part of peat by air in alkaline aqueous medium at elevated temperature and pressure is subjected to reoxidation in alkaline aqueous medium at 165-175 C and 11-13 atm for 0.5-1 h. Resultant mixture is filtered and filtrate is combined with that obtained after oxidation of chief part of peat. Combined filtrate is either evaporated at 88-90 C, or acidified to pH 1-1.5 to form precipitate, which is separated and dried at 55-60 C.
