FIELD: equipment for sharpening of home tools. SUBSTANCE: sharpener has base, column mounted on base and provided with grinding head and mechanism for accommodation of product to be ground. Grinding head has rotation drive. Product accommodating mechanism has casing mounted on base. Vertical feed screw is mounted in bearings within casing. Lever with handle is positioned on screw. One end of lever is adapted for receiving product to be worked and other end is provided with threaded opening having through axial slot. Lever is mounted on screw by means of threaded opening and axial slot is adapted for receiving handle. Lever is imparted rocking motion and fixed relative to screw by means of handle. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
