APPARATUS FOR MOLDING ARTICLES FROM CONCRETE MIXTURES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2106246 C1

FIELD: construction material industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical guides mounted on frame and connected in their upper parts by fixed cross-piece, mold with vibrator and punches mounted on guides, mold vertical positioning mechanism with flexible straps connected with mold and with drive drum, grip mounted on cross-piece and adjustable in vertical plane. Punches are mounted on cross-piece movable along guides. Concrete mixture is compacted by compaction device with punches and striker, which is in contact with buffer member during compaction process. Centers of striker and buffer member are aligned with center of punches. Cross-piece has brackets positioned at right and left sides. At final stage of compaction process, brackets are fitted on stops and gripped by spring-loaded catches. Stops and catches are movable in vertical plane. Mold frame sleeves are provided with plates, whose upper and lower inclined surfaces are in contact with lower and upper inclined surfaces of catches during movement of mold. When mold and punches are in extreme lower position, distance between upper inclined surfaces of sleeve plates and lower inclined surfaces of catches is equal or exceeds height of article to be molded, with height being defined by position of stops on frame. Depending on conditions, compaction device may have at least one centrifugal unbalance or planetary vibration exciters having total inducing force of 5-50 kN and vibrational frequency of 5-200 Hz, at least one synchronous electromagnetic or electrodynamic vibration exciters, spring-type or compression-vacuum-type rammer with crank or internal combustion type drive, air, steam or hydraulic hammer, diesel-type hammer. Punches may be mounted on movable cross-piece by means of flexible members. Compaction device and buffer member may be mounted on cross-piece or punch frame. Apparatus may be further provided with spring-biased weight mounted on cross-piece and provided with striker. EFFECT: improved quality of articles, reduced material usage and simplified maintenance and operation. 44 cl, 21 dwg
