FIELD: mineral fertilizers. SUBSTANCE: phosphorus-containing component is mixed with potassium compounds in presence of sulfate ion followed by granulation and drying of product. As potassium compound and sulfate ion source, K2Mg(SO4)2 salt is utilized, and process is carried out until phosphorus pentoxide to P2O5 : K2Mg(SO4)2 molar ratio 1:(0.76-4.6) is attained. Phosphorus-containing components utilized are phosphorite, superphosphate, or ammonium phosphate. K2Mg(SO4)2 sources are K2Mg(SO4)2-fertilizer, schoenite, or polyhalite. Sulfuric acid may also be admixed. All amount of K2Mg(SO4)2 is used in mixing stage or 5-10% of it is added in granulation stage in the form of solution. In the latter case, temperature of granulation is 70-90 C and ammonium nitrate melt or solution is additionally added. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 5 cl
