FIELD: manufacture of chemical machinery, more specifically, machines for grain and groats grinding and preparation of combined fodder. SUBSTANCE: hammer crusher consists of rotor with shaft 1 on which disks 2 are mounted. Suspended from axle 3, by means of hinges, between disks are hammers 4 with washers 5 between them. Included in the crusher are also supporting disks 6, bodies 7 of bearings, body covers 8 with bearings 9, bearing caps 10, body 11 with inlet 12 and outlets 13 in it. Body is made with multistart thread 14 cut counter the rotor rotation direction at angle at the top of 60 deg, perforated inlet gate 15 and outlet gate 16, loading branch pipe 17 and discharge branch pipe 18. Inlet has lower baffle 19 and upper baffle 20 installed at angle of 30 and 45 deg to inlet walls. In operation, hammers 4 involve in rotary movement material forming circular layer whose velocity is less than hammer peripheral velocity, and material undergoes crushing as a result of collision of material with hammer working surfaces and body 10. Milling fineness depends on thickness of washers 5, gap between rotating hammers and body surface, and also on position of regulating outlet gate 16 above body openings.
