FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves gradually increasing pressure applied to measuring electrode 2 concurrently measuring one of electric parameters of an object like, for instance, current intensity passing through electrode and magnitude of pressure applied to the electrode. Then pressure growth is stopped and change in the value of the measured electric parameter is determined on a predefined time interval under constant pressure applied to the measuring electrode. In taking measurements, the value of the first derivative of the electric parameter to be measured depending on pressure value is determined. Electric parameter increments under constant pressure applied to the electrode are measured at pressure value corresponding to zero or minimum positive value of the mentioned first derivative. The known device for measuring physical parameters has electrode 2 and pressure pickup 4 enclosed in probe each of which is electrically connected to the corresponding measurement channel 9, 11. Unit 19 is introduced into device design for determining the first derivative of the electric parameter to be measured like current intensity depending on pressure applied to electrode 2 and indication unit 20 for showing the received first derivative value. Each input of mentioned unit 19 is connected to output of one of measuring channels 9, 11, the output being connected to input of indication unit 20.
