FIELD: medicine; pharmacotherapy of acute respiratory viral diseases and influenza by administration of dibasol used as endogenous interferon inductor. SUBSTANCE: method involves additional intranasal administration of thymogen in the form of 0.01-% aqueous solution, and oral administration of ascorbic acid. Treatment is conducted according to the following schedule: administration of dibasol in amount of 0.02 g three times a day from the 1st to 3rd days of disease, thymogen in the form of 0.01-% solution in amount of 0.3 ml three times a day from the 2nd to 4th days of disease, and ascorbic acid in the amount of 0.1 g three times a day from the 1st to 4th days of disease.
