FIELD: phosphoric acid production. SUBSTANCE: extraction phosphoric acid, destined for production of industrial, feed, and food phosphates, is purified, clarified, and concentrated by evaporation. The latter operation is conducted simultaneously with finally removing volatile impurities by way of creating turbulized film flow of acid over heated to 120-800 C surface for 5 to 25 s. The surface can be heated either by steam or by electricity. EFFECT: achieved production of high- concentration food-quality acid with high technicoeconomic characteristics. 3 cl
