FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: two hydraulically coupled flexible sensing elements (belows) 2,3 are used as hydraulic reduction gear of weighed load gravity. Relation of effective areas of sensing elements determines reduction coefficient. Reduced gravity compensator is represented by quadrant mechanisms the proposed construction of which allows removal of scale nonlinearity, and attachment of their axles, axle of pinion 9 with indicating pointer 10 and dial 11 to moving rod 13 enables performance of measurements after bellows 2,3 return to initial state, thereby removing the effect of elastic deformation forces on balance readings. Gear 8 is load-receiving arm of quadrants. It is in mesh with transmission rack and is fixed to balancing lever 14 the end of which carries axle of pendulum 15 with oval gear 16 rolling over stationary gear 17 secured to carrying bridge 12. Motion law of pendulum 15 is determined by geometrical parameters of oval gears 16, 17 which are selected from condition of maximum linearization of balance scale. Balance sensitivity is determined by rigidity of bellows 2,3 at small deformations when position indicator shift from mark located on body becomes discernible visually.
