FIELD: measurement and computer engineering; digital signal processing systems. SUBSTANCE: variable-ratio frequency scaler 2, read-only storage 4,, and read-only storage counter 3 form source of periodic signal whose frequency is determined by code shaped in counter 7. Upon arrival of subsequent sampling pulse at bus 13, counter 7 changes its state and initiates synchronizing unit 1. As soon as the latter is triggered, pulses picked off clock generator 10 arrive at variable-ratio scaler 2 and at fixed-ratio frequency scaler 5 shaping in the process sine-wave signal across output of read-only storage 4 which goes through digital switch 12 to data buses of data storage and recording registers 8 and 9. Write pulse shaped across output of fixed-ratio frequency scaler 5 go through digital switch 12 to write outputs of registers 8 and 9 and to address counter 6. The latter shapes address for recording signal coming from output of read-only storage 4. Mode of operation of digital switch 12 depends on state of flip-flop 11. EFFECT: provision for high-accuracy shaping of periodic signal ensemble and for asynchronous exchange of digital data. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
