FIELD: mechanical engineering; drives of machines and engine units. SUBSTANCE: worm gear train includes worm with spiral thread and worm wheel engaged with it; pitch of worm wheel corresponds to that of worm thread. Turns of spiral are cut over area of disk ring at ratio of radii of outer circle to inner circle no less than 1.5. Worm wheel is mounted for reciprocating relative to worm axis. Teeth of worm wheel are made in form of arc at radius equal to radius of outer circle of disk ring. Width of wheel rim is equal to 1.2 -1.4 of radius of inner circle of worm disk ring.
